I was born and raised in the forsaken deserts near Phoenix, AZ, where the heat most certainly is not dry. I never explored my creative passions when younger, focusing more on science and math. After coming to college, I found my passion for the visual arts and am currently pursuing a film major. As such, my artistic style tends to be more cinematic in nature.
I prefer taking nature and architecture photographs because they don't move but are still constantly changing. I never enjoyed portraiture that much, but have recently begun dabbling into portrait photography and found myself (much to my chagrin) liking it. I prefer lower light and darker lighting and always have. I always feel peaceful and calm when taking photos like this, but the people around me say that it’s moody and sad or creepy. I love both types!
I currently own two Nikon cameras: a D3400 and a D750 that I just bought and am still learning. I own three DX lenses as well: an 18-55mm, an 18-135mm, and a 70-300mm. The 18-55mm is my favorite  but don't tell the others. I also own one off camera flash, a Neewer TT560, as well as a set of Neewer triggers to use said flash off-camera.
Life is short, incredibly so, and I want to experience the world as much as I can and share that beauty with the world. After all, isn't that what life is about?
